Wakestar Custom Boards designs, crafts, and hand-finishes custom wakesurf boards and custom stand up paddleboards. We are located in Austin, TX just off Lake Travis. Our goal is to serve Texas’ wakesurfing and SUP boarding culture by providing you with custom wakesurf boards and stand up paddleboards that perform and that are built to last.
When you order a custom wakesurfing board or SUP board from Wakestar, your board is precision cut using the latest CNC technology. Then, we hand-finish your board and coat it with a highly durable epoxy finish in a process that eliminates surface imperfections and structural weaknesses. In short, your Wakestar Custom Board will be built to perform and to last for a lifetime of hard use on the water.
Current State of Operations
Please excuse our lack of content – our website is still very much a work in progress as we gear up for our grand opening and official site launch. As of right now, we are in the final stages of preparing to open for business. There’s still a lot of work to do before we’ll be fully open for business, but we expect to be open this summer.
When we do open, we will be focusing solely on filling orders for custom wakesurf boards. Later this year in the winter off-season, we will work on developing our line of wakesurfers and SUP boards to be sold at local retailers. These will consist of a select number of models and styles to choose from, with pre-selected graphics and colors. Naturally, they will be priced a bit lower than a custom wakesurf board.
